Odesa, Ukraine — Yulia presented a plan for customs reforms to Odesa’s parliament today. Here’s what she had to say:
“Today I had an hour and a half of presentation and conversation with MPs of the Odesa Regional Council, and yet it was not nearly enough time to discuss everything and answer all questions.
We know one thing, however: more and more companies are choosing to transit through Odesa Customs. We exceeded revenue projections for January and February is trending high as well. Revenue that exceeds operating cost will be used to repair roads in the area.
I look forward to the cooperation and support of the MPs in the reforms we have already begun, and in the completion of the Open Customs Area. The success will be our common victory for the region.”
